The Mdala Trust
The Mdala Trust provides financial support to needy pensioners from Zimbabwe who left the country for South Africa, as Zimbabwe crumbled under the Mugabe regime. The trustees are embarking on a project to improve care homes in Zimbabwe itself. Both my parents passed away in a home there that was in dire need of improvement. Having seen the good work done by this organisation it has been the beneficiary of proceeds from my book a sales and presentations for many years now.
